Tallgrove is launching soon. These pages are published early so families can read how we work.
Accessibility

Accessibility statement

We want every child and parent to be able to use Tallgrove, whatever their needs.

Draft · Last reviewed: 19 October 2026

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across this website, the parent account and lessons.

Features that help

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard, with visible focus
  • Text and buttons meet colour contrast guidelines, and pages work when zoomed to 400%
  • Lessons can be spoken or typed, with on-screen captions of everything the tutor says
  • Adjustable voice speed and text size in lessons
  • Body text in a clear, simple typeface; decorative handwriting is used only for headings
  • The Guide tutor breaks tasks into smaller steps for children who need more support

Known issues

Some whiteboard diagrams in maths and science don’t yet have full text descriptions. We’re adding them subject by subject.
