One household per account

  • An account is for one parent or guardian and the children who live with them.
  • The sibling add-on (£25 a month) is for brothers and sisters, including step-siblings and half-siblings, who live in the same home.
  • Up to four children per account. Each child needs their own profile.
  • The Home Schooling Core gives one child unlimited tutoring hours in Maths, English and Science, up to 5 hours a day. Brothers and sisters on the Core (£199 a month each) have their own hours on the same terms.
  • Accounts can’t be shared, lent or sold to another family.

Devices and sessions

  • Each child can use up to two devices, and an account up to six, each approved by the parent.
  • A child’s profile can only run one lesson at a time.
  • Only the child named on a profile should use it, so the tutor’s notes and reports stay accurate.

How we check

To protect the service, we look for signs that an account is being shared, such as the same payment card or child on more than one account, lessons from many different homes, or one profile that looks like several different learners. We don’t use voice or face recognition to do this.

If something looks wrong, a person reviews it before we act. We’ll contact you first and give you the chance to explain or add a child properly. Repeated or deliberate misuse may lead to suspension under our terms.

Using the tutors respectfully

  • Use Tallgrove for learning. Don’t try to make the tutors produce harmful, unlawful or unsuitable content.
  • Don’t copy, scrape, resell or publish lessons, mock papers or other materials.
  • Don’t use Tallgrove to complete assessed coursework that must be a child’s own work.
